The World's Easiest Guide To Finances

The World’s Easiest Guide To Finances by Larry Burkett with Randy Southern

The World’s Easiest Guide To Finances is not a step-by-step plan for finances, but rather direction in several areas of your finances. Larry spends considerable time detailing how to handle the major money drains in our lives.

Since there is not a direct plan of action in this book, I would not recommend it for someone that is teetering on the brink of bankruptcy. This book is more for those who are using money carelessly. It talks in detail about how you can tame your budget by reducing your spending.

Larry Burkett was a Christian based teacher of money management principles. Many relevant biblical quotes are included throughout the book.

Each chapter has a short test at the end. Make sure you read the questions and answers they are quite amusing.

I like the following quote from the Budget Sculpting chapter; “The cheapest car to drive is usually the one you’re already driving”. The entire book is filled with witty straightforward lines such as this. You will often find yourself laughing.

The appendix of the book contains several worksheets and charts.

The World’s Greatest Guide To Finances is an easy to read, entertaining book that will teach you a lot about wisely handling money. For an enjoyable read about finances give it a look.
