The Millionaire in You
I originally purchased The Millionaire in You several months ago and read it. A few days ago I was rummaging through my books to see what I haven’t read in a while and this book caught my attention. The title of the book sounds more like a money making scheme which had kept me from reviewing this book for this site before. After reading the book again I’ve changed my mind. There is a lot of good information in this book. The book cover states: "Ten Things You Need to Do Now to Have Money and The Time To Enjoy It" As I re-read this book it struck me how much of it parallels our thoughts here at Finance For Families on getting out of debt so that you can become financially free. The Millionaire in You isn’t a book about getting out of debt along the lines of Mary Hunt’s Debt Proof Living. This book is about planning your way to financial freedom, including how to get there and what to do once you do get there. Although the title may scare you into thinking this book is about some kind of get rich quick mentality, it is a good book about using sound financial principles that can help you reach financial freedom. The chapter titles include the following: The Time and Wealth Grid LeBoeuf’s Law: The Best-Kept Investment Secret in the World The Master key to Wealth The Twentieth Century’s Greatest Gift Live the Life You Want Instead of the Life Others Expect Stack the Odds in Your Favor Instead of Against You Be a Super Safer Instead of a Big Spender Increase the Market Value of Your Time Instead of Working Long Hours Do Les Better Instead of Trying to Do It All Capitalize on the Unexpected Instead of Being Derailed by It Own the Market Instead of Trying to Beat the Market Limit Your Losses Instead of Letting Bad Luck Ruin You Listen to Those Who Know Instead of Those Who Sell Do It Now Instead of Regretting It Later Stay Financially Independent Keep Physically and Mentally Active Experience the Joy of Giving Something Back Remember, the Journey Is the Joy
