48 Days To The Work You Love
I purchased 48 Days To The Work You Love along with 48 Days To Creative Income and received the CD Turning Passions Into Profits as well.48 Days To The Work You Love is an entirely different job search method, but after reading it you will realize that it all makes sense. You have to get much more aggressive with your job hunting. I have not changed jobs since buying the book. I was more enthralled by the Creative Income book and have started on that path, but what I’ve learned from 48 Days To The Work You Love may still come in handy at a later date. I believe that it has already helped someone whom I know find another more satisfying job. Similar to the Creative Income book this one starts by helping you figure out what it is you were created to do and then to make a plan to achieve it. You are then guided through everything form the resume to salary negotiations. Dan Miller often says that the best jobs are never advertised and I believe this is true. You have to get out there and introduce yourself to them even before they start looking. You will not learn how to read classified ads in this book. You have to throw away some of the common thoughts about getting a job. If you will be looking for another job any time soon then this book is just what you need. The table of contents includes: The Challenge of Change Creating A Life Plan Understanding My Personal Characteristics Nuts and Bolts – Resumes Job Search Interviewing Negotiating Salaries Non-Traditional Work Appendix
